Detailed Job Description :
- You will be tasked with solving critical software automation and verification problems in a distributed systems environment. Working with developers and other QA teams you will become an expert in system-wide automation infrastructure. You will ensure exceptional performance of products used by customers to deliver the best of class experience.
As a Software Development Engineer in Test, you will be responsible for:
- Understanding the requirements, code changes to determine & access quality and test coverage
- Creating tests (Manual/Automation), identify bugs, raise issues to validate quality standards
- Contributing to designing and developing test automation suites for end-to-end, UI, API, integration, and performance testing
- Involving in functional, integration, usability and performance testing following QA measures and adopting the best practices
- Assisting with root-cause analysis to isolate and address the problem.
- Communicating information to lead about testing and automation including progress/issues & participating in sprint planning sessions
Job Qualification and Skills Required :
- 1 year of relevant experience and Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience in different testing methodologies & writing quality code for automation in Python/Perl
- Have experience working on Linux OR Unix based environment
- Experience testing Single Sign-on (SSO), AD (ActiveDirectory), Network Storage Devices or network tools like SAML checker
- Experience on Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), software quality process, testing techniques, Tools & technologies
- Have understanding of Atlassian suite of tools (Jira, Confluence)
Selection Process :
