Detailed Job Description :
- Writing Proton-Blueprint scripts for workflow, process, installation, and provisioning automation for CDK delivered business applications.
- Quickly learn the Proton-Blueprint scripting platform, learn how to apply Proton plugins in Blueprint scripts.
- Support teams to analyze, understand, document, and automate diverse, existing people-driven application installation processes.
Job Qualification and Skills Required :
- 0 to 3 years Python software development experience.
- 0 to 3 year’s experience developing scripts in Python, Javascript, Shell, Perl, etc.
- 0 to 3 years relational database experience, knowledge of SQL.
- Able to work with various APIs, familiar with RESTful APIs.
- 0 to 3 year’s experience with Linux, Linux shell, and software development.
- 0 to 3 year’s experience with software development, debug, test, and documenting on Linux platforms.
- 0 to 3 year’s experience with Agile-Scrum software development process.
- Salesforce API SOQL experience desired.
Selection Process :
The selection process for the Application Engineer post at CDK Global includes several stages, such as:
Aptitude Test Online: Candidates will have to take an online aptitude test to assess their ability in areas such as logical reasoning, quantitative aptitude, and verbal ability.
Group Discussion: Candidates who pass the aptitude test will be invited to participate in a group discussion, where they will be evaluated on their communication skills, leadership qualities, and problem-solving abilities.
Technical Interview: Candidates who pass the group discussion will then be interviewed by a panel of technical experts. This interview will focus on assessing the candidate's technical knowledge and skills related to the Mainframe Trainee role.
