Detailed Job Description :
Job purpose:
The purpose of this role is to build test cases and automate them and ensure implementation according to the testing guidelines to ensure high testing coverage and delivery of high quality across Geidea
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
- Design, develop and execute automated test cases
- Full automation of applicable test cases in scope
- Follow testing quality and adherence to testing process and guidelines
- Analyse test results
- Report defects
- Provide testing estimates within tasks
- Work with the Automation lead to ensure maintenance of existing automation framework
- Work closely with development team in closing the defects
Job Qualification and Skills Required :
- 1-3 years of hands on automation experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or computer Science is preferred
- Experience in using Jira, Postman, swagger, Selenium, JMeter, mobile testing tools
- Experience in programming is a must
- Frontend, backend testing knowledge is a must
- Experience in ISTQB, software testing life cycle, coverage, defects reports
- Experience in Automation tools is mandatory
- Familiar with agile methodology
- Fin-tech background is preferred.
Selection Process :
The selection process for the Test Engineer post at Geidea Off Campus Drive 2023 includes several stages, such as:

HR Interview: The final stage of the selection process is an interview with the HR team. This interview will focus on the candidate's attitude, motivation, and overall fit for the role and company.
