About Gujarat Panchayat Service Selection Board
Gujarat Panchayat Service Selection Board : The Gujarat Panchayat Service Selection Board is established under section 235 of the Gujarat Panchayat Act, 1993. The Board consists of five members including the Chairman. The duty of the Board is to select candidates for recruitment to Class III posts in the Panchayat Service and to advise the Panchayats in such matters as prescribed by the rules. The Board also conduct Departmental Examination of Panchayat Service Class III and Hindi/Gujarati Languages Examination.

Education Qualification and skill requirement for GPSSB Recruitment 2022
- Should have passed the Secondary School Certificate Examination
- Should have passed the Female Health Worker’s Basic Training Course recognized by the Government, or
- The Auxiliary Nurse Midwife Course is recognized by the Government and has been registered by the Nursing Council.
- Should possess the basic knowledge of computer application equivalent to Course on Computer Concepts (CCC) of Department of Electronics Accreditation of Computer Courses (DOEACC) Society or of the level as may be prescribed by the government, from time to time
