Detailed Job Description :
- Codes and programs enhancements, updates, and changes for portions and subsystems of systems software, including operating systems, compliers, networking, utilities, databases, and Internet-related tools
- Executes established test plans and protocols for assigned portions of code; identifies, logs, and debugs assigned issues.
- Develops understanding of and relationship with internal and outsourced development partners on software systems design and development.
- Participates as a member of project team of other software systems engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high quality solutions for low to moderately- complex products.
Job Qualification and Skills Required :
- Programming Language: Expertise in C++ , Python, OOP Concepts
- Experience working with Linux development/production environment
- A strong believer in TDD and used tools for UT and Coverage, Coverity
- Should be able to provide UX experience for visualization of a large volume of data
- Well versed with Agile development methodologies
- Able to work in a small SCRUM team with rapid turn around and tight build schedules
- Proven track record of learning new technologies, designing & developing software stacks.
- Ability to analyze corner cases, timing issues, security loopholes, scaling performances, etc.
- Has a good understanding of OS & its fundamentals along with Computer Architecture & Hardware.
- Willing to work alone with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively as a part of a larger team.
- Must be an independent, quick learner, and possess strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
Selection Process :
The selection process for the SW Development Engineer post at HPE includes several stages, such as:
