Job Description for Qualcomm Jobs 2021 :
- Strong understanding of basic computer architecture and CPU Microarchitecture
- Excellent in logical programming using C/C++/Assembly/Scripting
- In depth Understanding of software stack – Linux Internals/device drivers/ Trusted Firmware
- Benchmarking and Performance Analysis of ARM CPUs
- Extensive exposure to ARM ecosystem components – Linux, ARM Trusted Firmware, SCMI, SDEI, PSCI, FF-A
- Very good understanding of concepts like Virtualization, Security etc…
- Early Performance exploration of ARM CPUs, evaluate ARM microarchitectural improvements, performance power trade-offs and drive design of next generation Qualcomm IPs/Products.
- Analyze bottlenecks/limitations in existing CPU subsystem – Hardware and Software design .
- Analyze new CPU Architecture features introduced in ARM ecosystem and explore they can benefit our products.
- Software optimization based on CPU Microarchitectural improvements.
- Handle critical debugging arising out of complex system interactions
Skills Required For Qualcomm Jobs 2021 :
- Knowledge of any assembly programming (ARM would be added advantage)
- Knowledge of CPU architecture that includes
- Understanding of multi-processor CPU subsystem and related concepts coherency, memory management, synchronization, interrupt handling
- Exposure to compile, run and tweak Linux kernel
- Exposure to debugging issues in multi-processor SW especially those related to concurrency/ incorrect synchronization
