Detailed Job Description :
As a company we undertake site design and development work at individual wind farm sites. This involves building internal and client-facing software tools.
At Wind Pioneers, validating our tools is the base of our non-commercial and development activities and we take great pride in building validated software that impacts the industry at large. As we are putting efforts into validating and checking our tools, we need a candidate to help us in this process.
The main role will be (though not restricted to) to help and oversee our external tool-building partners through the validation process. This will involve:
- Using Excel-based tools to generate valid outputs
- Verifying web-based tools.
- Constant communication with our partner company.
- Any other project that might require any sort of software validation assistance.In short, this position will involve predominantly work related to software and tool-building.
Job Qualification and Skills Required :
- Familiarity with MS Excel.
- Exposure to time-series data.
- VBA knowledge will be a plus.
- Familiarity with operating web-based tools.
- Highly organised & detail-orientated.
- Confident communicator.
- Ability to work remotely and in-person with the team.
